Just wanted to check in and let everyone know that my recovery from my knee surgery is going awesome and I am stronger than I have ever been before. I can't thank my physical therapist, Nate and the whole crew at Endurance Rehab, enough for sponsoring me and getting me on a program that not only has made my knee stronger but my whole body. I have been riding bicycles a ton and just last week, finally got back on a dirt bike. It is feeling really good, I am just taking it easy for a few weeks so i don't re-injure anything, but I don't feel like have lost any speed.
I plan to train all summer and get my endurance on the bike back to where it was before I got hurt, and get my speed even faster. The race that I plan to return at will be the WORCS race at Glen Helen on September 19. After that is the last WORCS race in Mesquite, NV on October 24th.
I also have some other big racing news. I got invited to be on the United States Junior Trophy Team for the ISDE this year in Mexico City, Mexico. The race is November 1st through the 6th, but I leave to go down there two days after the last WORCS race. I am excited for this opportunity to represent USA and bring home some gold medals.
