Josh Strang is sponsored by Suzuki to race offroad events and he is very good at it, but the Aussie can race motocross also.
Strang faced considerable competition from Bryce Vallee, who plans to finish out his Amateur career at the 2010 Loretta Lynn Amateur Championships before hitting the last couple AMA 450 Nationals. Vallee might well have won the 450 Pro class at REM this weekend if he had gotten in front of Strang off the line. It was not to be, as Strang holeshot both motos and all Vallee could do was give chase. They were close, but accordioned back and forth with Strang going 1-1 and Vallee 2-2. Vance & Hines’ Preston Tilford was third, Jack Garrabrant fourth and Cody Jeffries fifth.
