
McGrath will fly directly from the Monster Energy Powder Mountain Motocross event to Detroit for the unveiling of his statue that will become part of a permanent display at the prestigious Hall of Fame and for the Media Day and that evening's Inductee Reception. McGrath will then fly directly from Detroit to Chicago in order to make his driver's meeting for his TORC off-road races. All of this while HD camera's film his every move, even on his flights, for a feature program that will be shown later on FUEL tv.
McGrath will be joined by six other inductees, including drag racer Dale Armstrong, sportscaster Ken Squire, race-car drivers Joie Chitwood (d.), Alan Kulwicki (d.), Jerry Titus (d.) and Rich Vogler. (d.).
Many past inductees are expected to attend, including motorsport icons Bobby Allison, Bob Bondurant, Shirley Muldowney, Danny Ongais, Roger Penske, Carroll Shelby and Al and Bobby Unser.
