WORCS Champion Mike Brown to race Hangtown MX Nationalposted in Motocross on May 18th 2010 at 11:11am.

Murrieta, CA – Thirty-eight year old FMF/KTM Factory WORCS rider Mike Brown has announced today that he will compete at the opening round of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship Series in the 450cc Motocross class at Prairie City OHV Park. Brown has had a successful race career spanning two decades. Brown was crowned the 125cc Motocross National Champion in 2001 and most recently won the 2009 WORCS Championship. Brown raced one outdoor motocross national last year at the opening round at Glen Helen Raceway to finish an impressive 7th overall. “I just love racing – plain and simple. It doesn’t matter what kind of race it is, if it has two-wheels I want to do it. I will race my KTM 450 at Hangtown and hope that I can still break the top ten,” remarked Brown. Keep your eyes peeled for Mike Brown aboard his national #3 KTM machine at the Hangtown Motocross Classic.

Brownie will get top 10 no worries!! 30 minutes plus 2 will seem like a walk in the park after 2 hours of Honey Lakes 4,000 ft elevation and all the rocks!!
