Hello my name is Craig Mason and race part time Road Racer in the Daytona Sportbike class in the AMA Pro Superbike Championship. And I also do a little AFM racing as well.
We race when sponsor money hits the race account and couch surf until then. :)

Recently we raced at Infineon in round 2 of the AFM series as a warm up for the AMA race at the same track...

We raced 600 Superbike, F1 and 600 Production...

We were gridded WAAAY in the because we had no pts in this series... My plan for the weekend no matter where I started for for 3 top ten finishes.

I ended up started 45th in superbike and got to 18th in 1 lap... They red flagged it and cut the laps down... I ended up 17th after restarting again from 45th... Not the top 10 I had wanted buuut... :( This race was supposed to be 8 laps but was cut down to 6 on the re-start.

So in Formula 1 I was more focused... I started 35th and I got up to 6th at the end of the race and was running faster and almost passed Eric Gulbranson for 5th... Great ride for a 6 lap sprint race.

600 Production was my last race of the day and we started 44th on the grid. I got all the way up to 8th place and was about 1/2 sec faster than the 7th place racer but the lead 7 were not within sight and I could not get that far up in 7 laps..

A ok start to the 2010 season to get two top 10's but 3 was the goal...
