Looking back at the first half of the Nationwide Series seasonposted in NASCAR on Jul 13th 2010 at 11:11am.

The 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series season is around its midpoint, with the exact middle of the season coming midway through Friday night's Dollar General 300 at Chicagoland Speedway.
The season, to this point, has been an eventful one. With rules changes across the NASCAR board -- like double-file restarts (that actually began during the 2009 season), the wave-around rule that went along with it, and multiple green-white-checker attempts, not to mention the introduction of the new car, the face of Nationwide racing has changed somewhat throughout the course of the first half of the season.
With all that aside, and going on behind the scenes when Danicamania seems to take over when Danica Patrick straps into a Nationwide car, it has pretty much been business as usual in the Nationwide Series -- to a point.
