Whether or not his fellow 2011 NASCAR Chase for the Sprint Cup competitors thought this was finally the season for “somebody other than Johnson” is unknown, but there were several people who seemed to figuratively “stick a fork” in Johnson following the first two races of this year’s Chase, saying that he was “done” -- that his chances of a sixth-consecutive championship title was pretty much over.
