When will the realization happen that Jeff Burton needs a new crew cheif and a decent pit crew? Since so many others see this it is beyond my comprehension that Mr. Childress would let this continue. With less than 19 laps to go, Jeff Burton had it made to win the 17th race of the season at New Hampshire. Burton moved up the track and at lap 63 with a fast car moves around Kyle Busch for 5th. At 92 he moves around Kurt Busch for 4th. At lap 146 Burton gets around Kyle Busch in Turn 4 and beats Busch to the line to lead. At 178 he pits to get 4 new tires. I do believe that we will hear those words this season. He may have won one this year if it wasn’t for a series of bad luck. It does seem that Murphy’s Law is in full effect.
