I do believe that we will hear those words this season.
He may have won one this year if it wasn’t for a series of bad luck. It does seem that Murphy’s Law is in full effect.
Burton does have a fast car and carries the skills of a seasoned driver. Always coming from behind to get in the top 10 positions during the race shows what skill he possess. My only concern he does not seem to be aggressive enough sometimes like the young guns are. Instead he is considerate to his teammates on the race track and wishes that courtesy would be returned.

We did see the mayor’s temper flare when he was clipped by Kyle Busch in Charlotte, that, in a way was good to see. It that means he has the determination to win.
This season Burton has placed 3 times in the top 5 finishes, and 7 times in the top 10 with an average of 14.1. In his career he has 21 wins, 125 top 5’s and 220 top 10’s giving his overall average of 16.0

This weekend is race number 17 at Lenox Industrial Tools 301 from New Hampshire Motor Speedway.            In the past, two drivers have won 18 of the past 36 Cup Series races. Denny Hamlin and Jimmie Johnson each have nine wins since New Hampshire of last year. It does seem those two may be ones to look out for, but for me, the CAT car is the one to watch.
