CHICAGO (November 4, 2010) – Michael Jordan Motorsports will field an American Superbike entry piloted by 2009 Daytona 200 Winner and 2008 Super Sport Champion Ben Bostrom in the 2011 AMA Pro Racing National Guard Superbike Championship series.
“Signing Ben Bostrom is another incredible step in our quest for a Superbike Championship,” said Kreig Robinson, Michael Jordan Motorsports Vice President of Corporate Relations. “Ben’s work ethic and level of dedication, as well as the team’s further development of the Suzuki GSXR-1000 superbike brings us closer to attaining a winning combination.”
Bostrom, 36, finished fifth overall in the 2010 American Superbike Championship, visiting the podium eight times, with a win at Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. He is a native of Redding, California.
MJM is also pleased and proud to announce its continued partnership with the National Guard, again fielding a second AMA Pro Racing Superbike team with National Guard title sponsorship, in addition to its Jordan Suzuki team.
