KTM 990 Adventure Dakar at EICMA
Just before it’s EICMA debut, Motorbiker.org brings us the first image of the 2011 KTM Adventure 990 Dakar. Although this is not the bike that actually participate in Dakar Rally, it is the one getting special edition treatment. Done in blue livery with orange accents (KTM color) and some graphics, this special edition 990 Adventure gets ABS, plus engine guard from KTM aftermarket department.

With the new Dakar regulations, bringing the bikes engine capacity to 450cc, may finally end domination of Austrian brand in this tough competition. So, there is no better time than now for KTM, to remind everybody about, and to celebrate their Dakar race victories.

For this particular model there are no technical details yet, but there will be more once EICMA starts officially (in a weeks time). KTM 990 Dakar Adventure will be shown alongside the actual Dakar competitor, the KTM 450 Rally.
